L'arquitecta Maria Taltavull sòcia de BCQ Arquitectes va participar ahir a la Jornada de Grupo Vía Arquitectura para la Rehabilitación per explicar el proyecte de rehabilitació de l'Espai Felip II al Barri del Congrés i els Indians de Barcelona.
L’espai Felip II és un antic teatre de barri de mida mitjana que amb el pas del temps ha quedat obsolet. Aquest espai de l'Associació de veïns adquirirà un nou ús com a teatre i sala polivalent per a esdeveniments per a tota la ciutat, guanyarà una segona planta amb el canvi plantejat a l'amfiteatre i recuperarà una major presència en el seu entorn fugint de l'actual imatge camuflada entre edificis. La Rehabilitació d'aquest espai representa una oportunitat notable per actuar des de punts de vista tals com l’economia de medis, l’eficiència energètica, la flexibilitat i la durabilitat. El projecte es troba actualment en fase de construcció.
The architect and BCQ's partner Maria Taltavull participated yesterday at the Day of debate Grupo Via Architecture for Rehabilitation to explain the rehabilitation project of Espai Felip II at the Congrés i els Indians quarter in Barcelona.
The Espai Felip II is a local old theater of medium size that has become obsolete with the passage of time. This space of the neighborhood Association will acquire a new use as a theater and multipurpose events hall for the entire city, it will win a second floor with the change proposed in the amphitheater and will gain more presence in their environment escaping thus the current image camouflaged by buildings. The rehabilitation of this space represents a significant opportunity to act from perspectives such as the economy of means, energy efficiency, flexibility and durability. The project is currently under construction.
