El parc metropolità de Can Zam, a Santa Coloma de Gramenet, tindrà l’any vinent el primer prototip del nou model d’aula d’educació ambiental dissenyat per BCQ i impulsat per l’Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB). Les noves aules d’educació ambiental seran espais d’aprenentatge i descoberta que donaran valor a tots els aspectes ambientals dels parcs i del seu entorn. Podran estar situades a edificis ja construïts, o bé seran noves construccions d’arquitectura prefabricada, flexibles i polivalents on s'han previst criteris de sostenibilitat en l’edificació i de protecció contra els actes vandàlics. En el disseny destaca la seva flexibilitat per poder adaptar-se als diferents tipus d’activitats que s’hi faran i tindran una capacitat aproximada d’una quarantena de persones. Totes elles tindran un espai exterior diàfan amb una part coberta que es relacionarà amb l’edifici.
The Can Zam Park in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona) will host next year the first prototype of the new environmental education classroom project designed by BCQ and driven by Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB). The new environmental education classrooms will be spaces for learning and discovery that will give value to all the environmental aspects of the parks and their surroundings. They may be located in buildings already built, or as new prefabricated, flexible and multi-purpose architectural constructions where criteria of sustainability in the building and protection against vandalism have been laid down. The design emphasizes its flexibility in order to adapt to the different types of activities that will be carried out and will have an approximate capacity of about forty people. All of them will have a diaphanous outer space with a covered part that will be related to the building.
